BACKGROUND
Sapir primarily practices in the area of family law. Before joining the firm, Sapir was a federal bankruptcy law clerk for the Honorable Laura L. Kulm Ask in Sioux Falls, SD. Sapir is dedicated and passionate to guide clients through a wide range of family law issues such as divorce, custody, visitation, adoptions, and much more. Sapir is fluent in Hebrew, enabling her to effectively serve Hebrew-speaking clients with clarity and care.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
During the Spring of her second year of law school, Sapir was a judicial extern at the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota for Judge Daniel M. Traynor. Throughout law school, Sapir was the summer legal intern at the Center for Innovation, and a Graduate assistant at the UND Nistler College of Business.
EDUCATION HISTORY
Sapir earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota after transferring 90 college credits upon graduating from Florida Atlantic University High School. She then attended the University of North Dakota where she pursued the JD/MBA program, working on her Law degree and Masters in Business Administration degrees at the same time. Sapir also earned her Aviation Law Certificate from the University of North Dakota School of Law.
During her four years at UND, Sapir competed on the UND Division I tennis team, playing at the top of the lineup for both singles and doubles, bringing home a gamut of accolades and awards at the conference and regional levels.
During law school, Sapir competed in internal moot court, winning “Best Petitioner Brief”. Sapir was also awarded as a top ten student by induction into the North Dakota chapter of the Order of the Coif.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
At 5 years old, Sapir started playing competitive tennis, competing around the country and the world. At 12 years old, Sapir was ranked top 20 in the United States, and moved from Maryland to Florida to pursue her tennis career. Sapir played numerous international competitions and some professional tournaments.
For fun, Sapir loves playing volleyball, pickleball, and hanging out with friends and family.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Sapir served as a board member for the Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity during her time in law school. Throughout her 4 years at UND, she volunteered over 100 hours supporting organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Stable Days Youth Ranch, community cleanup, the Circle of Friends Animal Shelter, and more. As a new Fargo resident, she’s excited to support local businesses and organizations.
