Kathryn Nekola

Practice Concentrations:

Kathryn is a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She assists clients with estate planning, probates, and seeking guardianships and conservatorships over family members.

Professional History:

Prior to joining SW&L, Kathryn worked at a small firm in East Grand Forks, Minnesota where her practice focused on business formation, real estate transactions, and estate planning. She also spent several years at a small firm in Fargo, North Dakota practicing insurance defense.

  • Admitted to practice in Minnesota since 2018.
  • Admitted to practice in United States District Court, District of North Dakota since 2019.

Education History

Kathryn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of North Dakota in 2014. After graduation, she attended the University of North Dakota School of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017.

Kathryn was born in Omaha, Nebraska and currently resides in Fargo, North Dakota. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, creative writing, and spending time with her nieces.
